Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been impressed by new midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who decided to join the club despite offers from elsewhere.

Zubimendi has left Real Sociedad to join Arsenal for a fee in the region of £55m. Having previously been a target for Liverpool last summer, with Real Madrid also interested.
